Artesian Water
Artesian Water
Artesian water is a specific type of free-flowing, spring water that comes from confined underground wells. Water in artesian wells moves from confined underground aquifers to the surface naturally due to pressure. The attraction to artesian spring water is filtering.
When the water travels at high pressure through the porous surface, it serves as a natural filter. This is mother nature’s pre-filtering and it picks up beneficial minerals along the way. Those minerals contribute to refreshing tasting water that lacks flatness
Testing Data
FOSSAQUA water undergoes regular laboratory tests to ensure persistent water quality. These tests are performed weekly according EU’s drinking water testing standards, and the results are consistently persuasive.
Laboratory results show that the water indicators meet and are even better than the requirements of the European Union.
FOSSAQUA artesian drinking water is ready for direct consumtion or bottling
Quality & Origin
Artesian water wells are located in prestine forest and lake land North West part of Latvia, from confined and protected artesian aquifer deep underground. Via pipeline water is delivered to a filtering plant where water is treated naturally.
The water is filtered using an intensive oxygen supply, as a result of which the iron particles turn into flakes, which remains on quartz sand filters. This treatment method is environmentally friendly and completely harmless to humans, and the water is not chemically modified
